Sunrise pictures in Okanagan
I need to make some pictures of sunrise in Okanagan, preferably over mountains. Anybody knows good vantage points? I don't mind driving.
Thinking somewhere along HWY33?

You could also get a really nice shot including the city, lake and bridge if you took a shot from the top of bridge hill on the westside in the areas known as "the bluffs" where they used to have concerts.

How about Giant's Head in Summerland? Pretty much on top of valley. Bit of a hike from the parking lot to the peak but not debilitating. Might want to check ahead in case it's closed during the winter, in which case you would have to hike up from the gate. That one is not for the faint of heart.

Good call.
Rose Valley Regional Park comes to mind as well - easier hike, much easier, the views are not as spectacular as Giant's Head but still get some good shots
