Post by verby »

I'm getting only chbc. Are there any other channels available, or that's it?

I believe you should be able to get global as well, channel 22. I dont have a setup anymore, but I used to be able to get the knowledge network as well in analog.

CHBC & Global are the same thing, since Global owns CHBC.

I was putting the TV in my trailer and just for fun I put up the antenna and did a channel scan.
2 came up but both CHBC. 1 in HD and 1 in SD.

Over the air tv transition from analog to digital Okanagan

Post by GAMEMASTER »

Hi I was wondering any of you guys know when all the rest of the transmitters in the Okanagan will be converted to digital The reason is that I live in Kelowna and I am only getting 2 channels right now but apparently according to tv fool there is a couple more in analog that I could be getting from Peachland and Oliver but the problem is that they are to weak but then I looked up on Wikipedia that the rest of the okanagan transmitters are supposed to get converted to digital before August 31 2016 which would give me more powerful signal to work with but I'm wondering when before August 31 2016 and if this Is ture

There is lots of info on the internet on how to build one yourself.

Might be worth a try as they don't look too difficult to make.
