Re: Favourite Fictional TV series ?
Only shows I've watched in the past 2 years is Walking Dead (I'm a zombie fan, what can I say) and Mr. Robot.
Mr. Robot is the best thing since they invented beer.

The Walking Dead is a series we still have to finish on netflix. I gave it a break because I just could not stand the character kill off streak they went on for a while.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

They do that in that series. It makes it quite... tense, IMO. You never know if one of your fave characters is gonna get zombified.

Why is it dumb? I've heard it's a good show, just haven't gotten into it.
My husband, kids and I are watching an anime about time travel called "Stein's Gate". If you can get past the first 5 or so episodes it is pretty good.
I haven't failed until I quit.

I can't decide if it is or isn't.
We did a square eye marathon for Mad Men last night. Finished Season Six and watched Episode one of Season Seven.
Still an excellent show, not dated because it's not meant to be current. I love how they weave US political events shown on tv into their story lines. I expect season seven to be a compare and contrast essay on the whole bi-coastal theme, CA vs NY.

Here's a great Mr. Robot scene where the main character decides to finally be open & honest with his psychiatrist:

Re: Favourite fictional television series?
Took me 4 years to get around too it but I watched and enjoyed Breaking Bad. There is simply too much to see these days so I limit myself and right now I am obsessed with TWD. I also confess to having watched S1 of FTWD. Looking forward to it and I don't feel too guilty because it basically starts back up when TWD ends for the season.
And I watched Supernatural but didn't watch the last season because it felt different from the rest. That series though I watched on my tablet in the wee hours when I couldn't sleep which is pretty much all the time.

I tried Breaking Bad, but then I straightened out and started watching LOST instead. More appropriate.
And why are you not sleeping?

Re: Favourite fictional television series?
I can't pick just one. Breaking Bad is probably the only multi season series (besides the wire) I've ever been able to finish. It held my attention and kept me entertained and on the edge of my seat till the final episode.
Hell on Wheels is a western that has it all. Scenery, great characters, accurate history and a hell of a protagonist.
Eastbound and Down. What can I say... it made me laugh my *bleep* off. Probably not for everyone.
And of course "The Wire"
