Radioactive - Imagine Dragons (horrible)

I agree on Sounds of Silence. Painful. But people seem to love it.
Radioactive is a good song IMO that got way overplayed.
Worst radio songs for me right now are anything by The Offspring or Three Days Grace.

Anything Josh Groban. I don't listen to local radio, so not sure if his music is played much here. It's just terrible.

The first time I heard this song on the radio I burst out laughing thinking it was someone trying to do a spoof of Heart. Nope it's real (and baaaaaad).

Agreed, a horrible song. I don't even understand what it's about. An ode to ambiguous female struggle I guess.
You might find this version a little more palatble. I sure do

That's not a bad song I don't know how you came up with a comparison to Heart, she sounds more like Johnette Napolitano from Concrete Blonde.

Overplayed? That's not overplayed.... this was overplayed:

So much so, that a parody song was created to ask that it stop being overplayed:

I'd like to change your mind, but I don't have a fresh diaper.

The songs could also be called a list of the most overplayed songs since the 90s.
The only thing that we never get tired of hearing seems to be our own name >>>>

This is the voice of someone who forgets how much crappy music was put out in the 60's, 70's, and 80's and is only remembering the best artists of those eras. For every Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Beatles (or whoever you think was great) there were dozens of crappy acts putting out one hit wonders and terrible, forgettable music that charted for a week or two.
This argument is definitely one of my pet peeves. There are artists putting out good music right now, but there's also a ton of crap... just as there's always been.
