Holy crap, made my ticker skip.

Not even sure why, I don't know him on a personal basis, just through film.

One of my all time faves.

And two rock n' rollers have passed away lately.

Kenny Shields of Streetheart for one.

And Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.

Now I am going to say this, it's odd that so many entertainers seem to choose death by hanging. Is there a commonality to this?

(Thanks for the catch Lady teMah, not auto correct so much as auto correct in my head. :D )

Sam Sheppard last week.................playright and actor.

The Right Stuff and Thunderheart were two of his movies I enjoyed. Many, many more movies to his credit.

It's possible to do all the right things and still get a bad result.

Was never big fan of his music, his acting was not academy award worthy. He was in one of my favorite movies the original True Grit.

My condolences to his Family & Friends, rest in peace Glen

Not a big fan of his songs either but I was always very appreciative of his guitar playing talents. I did always like this collaboration:

Pretty amazing also how he was able to perform up until a couple of years ago despite his awful illness.

RIP

RIP Glen Campbell................great voice (Galveston) and an amazing guitar player. I'm a Rock and Roll and Blues fan from way back and you were one of the first country players I took notice of.

I just checked GordonH's Death List. so far 10 of 50 have died. This is turning out to be a good year in the prediction department.

6th time is lucky for Jerry Lewis.
