When you are doing it from frozen it's pretty easy peasy and that is one of the big plus's to the instant pot. You can cook from frozen without adding a lot of extra time as well as not having to hover over it making sure it doesn't burn etc.

Cheesecake isn't on the menu at my house until there is a lot less of me around the middle! May have to wait a while :admin:

I checked my delivery status online this morning only to see that it was delivered on Saturday. Saturday?

I opened my front door and low and behold it was there. Been sitting there for two days.

Like Christmas come early!

I've got it unpackaged. Just about to go through the manual. It's a thing of beauty!

Made my steel oats. Pretty good. I see now that I can put the oats in a mason jar inside of the cooker on a rack. Will try that next time.

Slightly off topic but I guess they do! It wasn't an InstaPot, but Canada Post did deliver a parcel to my door yesterday, a Sunday.

I use a 6"x3" round cake pan for SC Oats and Rice and anything else that can be don PIP (pot in pot). It makes for easier clean up. I have a silicone one as well but I'm not as fond of it. Too floppy when lifting it out.

I make enough oats for several days at a time and just reheat in the microwave. Add Cinnamon, home made apple sauce and some sweetener. mmmmmm

Woke up this morning, plugged in my IP and nothing. No lights, no beeping.

I have to send it back. I will be without it for a week.

Did you check the fuse/breaker?
Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

When it didn’t work I plugged it into another outlet that I had my coffee maker plugged into. No dice.
