Noticed that they have closed, they were around for awhile then pfffttttt.

Good fish & chips, to bad it's so damn expensive.

Sign of the times of eating out habits, or maybe the owners are on vacation in warmer climate.

There is still C-Lovers & Shady Rest.

Last time there, the prices had definately gone up and it wasn't very busy at all, too bad cuz they were good.
As for C , eww, ever smelt it outside there, smells like old, old oil.
I thought Shady Rest was closing as well? Will have to go there for sure

Last I heard Shady Rest had new owners.

New owners took over at the beginning of the year.

That place was so squeaky clean and the food was really good. Best coleslaw EVER !!!
So disappointing to hear.

Walk by today & took a look inside, everything has been removed. So asked next door it appears they stopped paying rent, so guess what happens next.

They were there for a long time.

It could be related to the fact that the owner had cancer a few years back.
I hope not but it could be why.

Too bad, although I hadn't eaten then in quite a few years. Shady Rest has been my go to place for a long time. However, it sounds like the new owners are going to change their menu so maybe it won't even be a fish and chip place anymore.
