Fun thread ! - FOODS YOU HATE

Remember - this is just meant to be a fun "winter doldrums" thread. No arguing about the virtues of OUR yucky foods. We don't want to hear it ! It's just YUCk in our mind! Just meant to be a fun thread.

I'll start by my own icky things:

Mustard - of any kind. Just can't stand even a wiff of it. Barf!

Liver - well, it's a body organ that filters toxins - just yuck! You can try to disguise it all you want with fancy sauces (sister did that to me years ago). Nope it's still liver - same texture same gross! Same goes for kidneys, heart, tongue,....oh just mega Yuck factor.

Caroway - that is one nasty little seed that delivers way too much punch ! Hate hate hate the flavour of that crap ! If I get a loaf of bread that has that crap in it out in the garbage it goes instantly.

Spinach- Cooked it looks like bog slime - raw it's just evil green stuff that makes you poop. I have no interest in Kale either . Sorry Kale lovers.

Cilantro and mango (!!!) are two of my absolute least favourite foods, at least as far as items most people seem to like. But somehow mango salsa, which is made of both is one of my favourites It’s like they cancel one another out.

When I was a kid I hated beet leaves.

Now - foods I hate.

1 - coca cola. I wouldn't drink the stuff if someone paid me. what kind of maniac invents something like that?
2 - white sugar. I saw a bag of the stuff at Canadian Tire for $2.29 and I thought - Do people still eat that 1970s garbage?
3 - Do they still manufacture sugary breakfast cereals with names like Cap'n Crunch? Yukk.
4 - Anything with thirty ingredients and one of them is aluminum.

Funny because I'm the same way with liver and kidneys. I don't like on thier own but fry them up together with onions, throw in a pocket bread with some tzatziki, and I'm loving it.
