What happened to Ricardo's Mediterranean Kitchen?
It's marked as closed on Google.
Is there another restaurant? Or did they just change the name?

Apparently the one in Lake Country is closed too.
Judging by the latest reviews I'd say they did you a favor.

From April 23rd on the Facebook page:
For nearly 17 years Ricardo’s Mediterranean Kitchen was a mainstay in the Central Okanagan winning numerous awards and earning an impeccable reputation. Recently, Chef Ricardo Scebba has moved on to new and exciting endeavours within the industry with Ricardo’s Catering and Events and he has now passed the torch on to Brian Daniels and Kari Sargeant. Ricardo wishes Brian and Kari all the best in the future with their new restaurant The District Eatery. All the best Brian and Kari!

Judging by how reviews took a nosedive, he was in charge of quality.
Too bad, it was a nice restaurant with a very nice atmosphere.

Went there a few years ago when Richardo had it--amazing! Went in January 2018 for a birthday dinner with family the food was absolutely terrible, service not good at all, and WAY over priced. Not surprised it closed. Too bad....

My link is where he is, since reviews of restaurant were not very good.

Re: What happened to Ricardo's Mediterranean Kitchen?
He is only doing catering. I would assume, but do not know, that there would have been a standard non-compete clause in the sale which didn’t include catering but would have restricted him from opening a restaurant within a certain radius.
