James Best, better known as Rosco P Coltrane from Dukes of Hazzard. Loved that show growing up....more so because of Daisy Duke  R.I.P. Rosco....

Nathaniel Taylor, the actor who played Rollo Lawson on the 1970s sitcom “Sanford and Son,” died Feb. 27 at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after suffering a heart attack. He was 80.

As part of the recurring cast on “Sanford and Son,” Taylor appeared in 32 episodes from 1972 through 1977. Taylor’s character, Rollo Lawson, was Lamont Sanford’s best friend and often a target of Fred Sanford’s ire, who believed Rollo was a criminal since he had spent time in jail.

It's sad to hear about luke perry passing. He was quite a good actor. Seemed very humble in life.

Truly a bummer indeed. He played quite a lot of roles, many of which I was a regular viewer of.

52 is too young to go.

On a side note, is it just me, or is the emoticon selection here pathetic? Not even a sad face, really? :200:

Only 61. In terms of retirement, not even close these days.

So young, so many have died so young.

In this case I'm sure the 458lbs of weight played a pivotal role, so a little less of a surprise than a fit looking Luke Perry passing at 52.

Let's hope we don't have to add Alex to the list this year.

I guess a miracle can happen, pancreatic cancer never turns out well for one who has it.

Hang in there Alex.

I remember the first time I heard his name, he was host of Western Lottery draw

RIP Luke Perry.

For me his most memorable movie was "8 Seconds" when he portrayed Rodeo star Lane Frost.

Check it out.
