Role model? yes.
It's about being treated as an equal, not as some woman "put in her place."

It's 2010 and people don't think women should be allowed beer and cigars?

If it had been the MEN'S hockey team sitting on the ice drinking beer and smoking cigars, you can be sure it would have been just fine.

What a joke.

You go, girls! :sunshine:

I'm sure nobody is surprised that the times has run with the "beerstain" story. They didn't have all that much to say about it probably because it's pretty minor compared to what goes on at their soccer games. Cue the defenders and Brit bashers in 3..2..1.

Read and learn. This is how Canadian women should act. And don't get any funny ideas about cigars and beer unless you are getting them for us in between cooking our dinner and cleaning our clothes!

How on earth did you get that picture of Mrs. old-bushman? I took it only a couple of weeks ago.

The old testament says it's ok to beat your wife and sell your daughter into slavery so consider this progress.

Let me get this straight.

You get pissy because they had a beer and a stogie, and then post the above?

Which is it? Should they be treated like equals or property?

(Hint. The answer is equals which means celebrating with a beer and a stogie)

Are you getting ideas for Mrs. Captain A, or just running out to buy her a case of beer?
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Aaahh yes, women who drink beer. The only thing better than a woman who drinks beer, is a woman who drinks beer and smokes cigars. If Mrs. old-bushman wanted a six-pack and a cigar, I would be delighted to go get a 2-4 and a couple of cigars.
