Boston Terriers gone wild

Post by oneh2obabe »

If you've ever been owned by a Boston, you know it's like having a 2 year old in the house for the next 10-12 years. Might be small but they think they are the elephants of the dog world ... not to mention very determined.

Most people from Boston are not too bright
I got Married because I was sick and tired of finishing my own sentences.
That's worked out great for me!

:jennysmad: Not nice.

Grew up with Bostons and they didn't jump all over everybody ... broke that habit pdq.

Granny bred them and was getting ready to retire one of her champion studs. Retired him a couple of months early and he was my coming home from the hospital as a newborn present. Believe me, nobody came near me when I was outside when he was around. Have a picture somewhere showing me as a toddler with him right beside me ... granny called him my shadow.

Should have put the bat after that sentence.

It was lack of traning on the one I knew.
I've always had big dogs, If you did'nt take the time and have the patience for them they were very hard to handle.
It's like all pets, The owner has to do there part as well and take the time.

Same here ... always had big dogs but there was also a Boston. Wanna guess who ruled?

Last Boston was about 22 lbs. and he ruled ... was a riot watching him give my 160 lb. Mastiff the look. When he got mad, he'd grab all the dog toys and put them in a huge pile in the middle of the kitchen. Then he'd lie down next to them and dare the Mastiff to take one.

Did you know (so the story goes) there was a war between the Bostons and Great Danes over a name? (mantle - from what I've heard and Bostons won).
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?
Fancy this, Fancy that and by the way, T*t for Tat
