We have no idea just how tuffy hurt her eye. She had spent the whole night in the woods up by Shannon Lake . She is getting back to normal, eating, drinking and kissing mom and dad. I will keep everyone informed after the vet on Monday, appointment.

Found a black lab bordie collie mix in Rose Valley November 3rd around 9PM.

It is a male, he is black with white tipped paws and a white chest. He has a blue nylon collar and an RDCO tag.

Please send me a message if he's yours or you know who's missing him. He's a friendly guy. I'll hold onto him for a few days then take him to the pound.

TUFFY IS RECOVERING, THE VET STATED THAT TUFFY WILL NEVER SEE FROM HER RIGHT EYE AGAIN, BUT SHE DOESN'T SEEM TO MIND AND IS LEARNING TO ADJUST. WE ARE SO THANKFUL JUST TO HAVE HER BACK AND SHE WILL ONCE AGAIN RUN AND PLAY WITH HER SISTER TINA. THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO KIND AND GREAT ENCOURAGEMENT, BLESS YOU ALL

I was just approached by two young men looking for a six month old boxer by the name of Hugo. He got away in the Smith Creek area at 6 am today Nov 25 and they are frantically searching for him. He is wearing a collar with his name and phone number on it. They didn't leave a phone number with me but I did tell them about castanet. Having just read about the loss of a small dog in Lakeview Heights taken by a coyote it is worrisome. We have a pack of them in the ravine close to us.
The owner said he would come to you if you called out his name "Hugo".
Many eyes watching should get this fur boy safely home.

SCAM - ROBBERY INTENT - today in the Westside Weekly it says that later that day two homes on Twin Place in West Kelowna were robbed. The two men broke into a rear basement window.

Cat Found in 1800 block of Abbott St. Dec 20th. Was very hungry and is now being taken care of hoping to find its owners in time for Christmas! Tuxedo cat, mainly black, with some white around the face and black below the chin. Please PM if you know of this missing cat. Tried to put picture here but would not allow to paste? Picture on SPCA Kelowna website.

Owner showed up New Years Eve knocking on doors for this lost cat, happy ending!

Don't know if this photo will appear, but it is a small shitzu, tan and white, with BC tags...found in someone's yard in Airdrie, AB. Is there anywhere else they could check for someone missing this little guy? Or somewhere else I could post it?
