Wanting to find a dog to adopt.

I am looking to adopt a small dog for my mom. Spayed female 7-10 lbs. 2-3 years old (not a puppy).
I am thinking of a Shih-Tzu or Yorkie cross. PM me if you have any suggestions. I have checked the SPCA site and the dog rescues, but thought I would just throw it out there.

Thanks, I have checked all those. I was just wondering if there was someone out there who wanted to rehome a dog but had placed an ad or anything. I was trying to approach the "friends and family" route.
