Can Anybody Recommend A Good Vet
Can anyone recommend a good vet , particularly as relates to cancer treatment, in the Kelowna or West Kelowna area ? I am looking for a second opinion on treatment proposed by my primary vet. Time is of the essence so thought I would post here . Thanks .

Many years ago with our last dog we went to Tri-Lake in Lake Country for a second opinion as well. We have rarely gone anywhere else since. The owner Eliot Kaplan is the only one to see IMO. Others are OK but Eliot is the best.

A good friend works at Rose Valley and has nothing but the best things to say... As well we've been going to Farfield Vet Hospital for years now, started because they were open after hours, but stayed going there due to their excellent doctors.

We are really impressed with Dr Oz/ Rose Valley Vet Clinic. Doesn't automatically want to run a bunch of tests; and is the best we've ever seen re follow ups. Their whole staff seem truly passionate about what they do.

As far as cancer in pets goes, Eliot Kaplan at Tri Lake is the best. I believe he actually worked at an animal cancer care clinic at one point in his career and has had major success with administration of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments. Animals also do not have the negative reactions to chemo drugs that plague humans, so it is a much less stressful experience than it sounds.

I second both of the Kaplans at Tri-Lake. They are the best in the valley.
