That's why I home schooled mine. I feel they received a much broader education and learned easier, as I was able to tailor their learning to their emotional and intellectual levels.
We also ended up with way more free time to do "life skills" stuff. My eldest who's away at RMC constantly finds that her peers don't have basic life skills and she is constantly trying to teach them stuff that she's known her whole life.
She thanks me often for educating her the way I did.
