So -What do the stars say???

Post by NAB »

In that his birthday was yesterday, some may wish to consult the stars to see what the future holds in store for Harper, born under the sign of Taurus the Bull in 1959, ...before they place any bets on this election.

In fact, it may be interesting to consult the horoscopes for this week for the other leaders also..

Ignatieff, also a Taurus the Bull, who incidentally was born within days of my immigration and entry into to Canada (he's still a baby bull to me LOL, but still about 12 years older than Harper although both qualify as baby boomers).

Layton, is a Cancer, about nine years older than Harper but 3 years younger than Igantieff, who qualifies as "the old man" of the big three.

Duceppe, is a Cancer also (in more ways than one it appears LOL), and the same age as Ignatieff, and also a "Baby Boomer".

May, is a Gemini baby Boomer it appears, and born in 1954, which makes her the youngest of the pack next to Harper, who is the baby in this race.

So in terms of age and generation, Harper is closer to today's youthful generation than any of the others.

So, what do the stars or tea leaves say about each of their prospects for tomorrow and the balance of this week?

Incidently, if I calculated right all of them except Harper "matured" during the sixties and the hippie dippie Liberals era. Harper on the other hand matured during the late 70's, during Trudeau's first decline. Put another way, All of them except Harper were influenced by Trudeau's "Rising UP" LOL. While Harper was influenced by Trudeau's sinking ship. Perhaps he learned a new thing or two through that process that the others, particularly Ignatieff, did not - because he wasn't here.

At one point you say things like this, but when something bad about the past is brought up it's the "Morals and views change over time" bit. So we can either fully discredit that the "Trudeau falling" was in influence at all, and that "Trudeaumania" had an impact on the others or we can start listening to this stuff Harper said in the past and hold him accountable for it.

Which is it?

LOL. Neither really Unknown, just an observation that may or may not be relevant in terms of how and when people form their basic political ideologies, ...and something to fill the void while we await the outcome.

Besides, yesterday we were campaigning, today we vote. The devil awaits our decision ;-)
