Posting New Topic Issues

I had this issue the other day and thought it was an isolated incident, but tried today to post a new topic and my computer freezes and then when I can enter something, typing is very sluggish or delayed and my screen appears to jump or hiccup? This issue only seems to occur when posting a new topic on castanet. Eventually I get a warning of this page being unresponsive, but can't even "kill it" or wait, as the screen is frozen....

I have gone through two unresponsive notices while typing up this comment...

check your computer for malware

I did all the checks after the first incident. Even now trying to post, there is hesitation between me typing and the letters being entered (if that makes sense). Any other suggestions to check malware other than malware bytes though?
