Some fun, huh Bambi?
You cannot reason someone out of a position that they did not use reason to arrive at.

In an effort to sort of bring it back on topic...

The claim that names are not allowed in negative reviews is to limit liability is actually a misnomer in this case - by editing posts after the fact, absent a complaint, actually makes Castanet a publisher as opposed to a distributor.

I think what they're saying is they'd like to avoid having to deal with the complaints (and perhaps defending themselves, if they were simply a distributor) - which is a very fair position for them to take.

Just don't confuse the two positions.
I'd like to change your mind, but I don't have a fresh diaper.

In light of the badminton controversy (where they got kicked for bad acting, and not bad sportsmanship), I have come with a loophole as to how to get around the "no negative business reviews". Simply post a topic called, "Where is the worst Chinese food in the Okangan?" In the OP emphasize the "fact" you have very different tastes than everyone else, and that you are a lover of really bad Chinese food.

There is always 2 sides of a story on a negative review.

For example...

Customer could blabb about everything and anything bad about the service....

but the other side was

Owner manager employee bent over backwards for the customer which customer still did not accept.

so thats why there should be 2 stories to every bad review
**Disclaimer: The above statement is in my OPINION only.

Interesting. But yet the twongo/Gosango thread continues. Dont see much positive being said about that business.
