I'm not following - you have saved pm's from posters and now they're gone?
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

It is not a breach of your privacy. What happens is this: a member send you a PM, then changes their mind, clicks delete. When they do this, YOU get a 'deleted message' in your inbox.

Ok now I get it - I've had this happen a few times. Poster reconsiders what they are sending and decide nah, shouldn't so delete it. Think over the years I've done that myself a couple of times.

Exactly. The system is kind of funny in that it doesn't just delete it, instead it sends the deleted message to recipient. When the recipient clicked on it to read it, it is deleted.
You can't edit or delete a PM once it has been read, though.

Think of it like call display, even though you didn't answer and the caller didn't leave a message you still know they called.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?
Apparently "Robin Hood All Purpose" was the wrong answer!
