The thing with internet forums is that you usually don't have a face to put to a poster. But after years of reading someone's posts everyday it really feels like you've got to know them. It hurts to see their posts suddenly stop after learning that they've passed away. Donald was one of those users that you'd notice if they stopped posting for a few days. A smart guy who wouldn't let anything faze him. I'm sure he drove some of us crazy from time to time but when it comes down to it, he was a cool guy & we enjoyed his company. Rest in peace Donald G, you will be missed.

My condolences as well. Although we didn't always see eye to eye, I admired his convictions.

As did I.
This place isn't the same without him.
I'm gonna miss him.

I did a quick search and the first instance was a couple of years ago by Donald - good recall and a good way to remember him - with all due respect.

And there was our late night talk show on WADR 103.6 with Gix and Don.

Don and I may have tested each other's boundaries a bit, but as time went by we chatted more and more via pm and became pretty good buds.

He was definitely a personality who stood out here and I respected his opinion.
He had a wonderful command of english that I admired. I'm glad I took the chance to tell him so.

I always wondered what WADR meant every time I saw Don post it. Now I know!

Me as well. It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out what WADR meant. I will definitely think of him every time I see it.

WADR, while what you said above could actually work, it is "due" not "do". Donald G would have corrected it, I bet. :130:
It was sad going on one of the "THC Marijuana" threads knowing that those folks will have nobody to respond to now. It will be tough for them carrying on a one sided conversation for another few hundred pages.
