Sounds like there is a forest fire in the trepanier area of Peachland

they are requesting forestry step it up! Fire is really picking up speed,

evacuating some homes now, Forestry is now dumping water by Helicopter, estimated size is 3 hectares, rank 2 to 3

Forestry fixed and rotary wing aircraft on site. Retardant aircaft on the way along with ground crews. RCMP is going to start doing evacs due to rapid spread of fire and possibly cutting off escape route. People are getting out on their own. Fire about a kilometer long being pushed by 30 to 40 k winds. Several structures under threat.

What does rank 2 to 3 mean? We are right in front of the Trepanier area.

What side of the highway is the fire?

when going south it is on the right side, on the connector it would be on left side, in behind the IGA, just over the hill
