Kelowna City Council Scorecard

It has been enjoyable to read the posts about our municipal elections. Mostly informative.......and unfortunately under utilized by the voting public. What Kelowna needs is a website where we can go to read news about our NEW city council and comment about........good or bad. Give praise where warranted and criticize our elected officials. This way it cannot be spun by our local media.

This "scorecard" can keep track of our councilors, mayor and city manager. Absenteeism, trips made by these individuals on business concerning our city....who went with them.....costs incurred, etc. Post your questions that have been sent to these individuals and their response time and answers so all can read.

Yes, you can access the minutes from council but a website can zero in on specifics and clarify. There is nothing more annoying to elected people than being under a microscope and believe me, when they are being paid by all of us, they should be under the microscope.......it is the best way to keep them "honest". After 4 years we will be able to critique each and every elected official for their performance.
