The Return Of Gordon Campbell...The Creme Also Rises.

Remember that recent story about the phone polling (done by an actual person!) asking folks if they thought Gordon Campbell is trusty-worthy?

Well.

It turns out that it was all about the new federal riding of Vancouver Granville which is, in large part, Shaughnessy (aka 'Cremeville').

It also turns out that it apparently had nothing to do with Senatorville and everything to do with Mr. Campbell's potential run at the seat under the FedCon banner as the Globe's Steven Chase told us late last week.

Is Gordon (“What does this do? I don’t know – let’s cut it”) Campbell trustworthy? I don't know. How about competent? Maybe if he’s not given any responsibility with budgets or fiscal policy we could rest easy. After all, Stephen Harper is mainly concerned with recruiting candidates who will simply do as they are told and spew the political line. Gordo’s early tenure as boss reminds me of the joke, re. new CEO who comes into a company to “shape things up”. Need to get the facts first Gordy.

If you've ever worked for a boss who reacts before getting the facts and thinking things through, you will appreciate this!

A company felt it was time for a shakeup, hired a new CEO. The new boss was determined to rid the company of all slackers.
On a tour of the facilities, the CEO noticed a guy leaning against a wall. The room was full of workers and he wanted to let them know that he meant business. He asked the guy, "How much money do you make a week?"

A little surprised, the young man looked at him and said, "I make $400 a week. Why?"

The CEO said, "Wait right here." He walked back to his office, came back in two minutes, and handed the guy $1,600 in cash and said, "Here's four weeks' pay. Now GET OUT and don't come back."

Feeling pretty good about himself the CEO looked around the room and asked,

"Does anyone want to tell me what that goof-ball did here?"

From across the room a voice said, "Pizza delivery guy from Domino's."

yup - we are going to be paying for Campbell's reckless fiscal ineptitude for a few many more years yet.
