Well.. I'm going to vote for the candidate in my riding that I feel best voice my concerns in Ottawa. I don't think it's going to be the young guy with nice hair who lived off of daddy's trust fund Or Mulcair... Whom BTW is MORE of a deceitful liar than Harper.

Maybe , I'll vote Green .. Who knows G ? I have the time to make up my OWN mind.

Why would voting Liberal mean people want Harper? I would think that NOT voting NDP serves two purposes, you vote Liberal instead, which is a much better party, and you don't get the lies and decent of the NDP anywhere near power. Win win!

So let's say we end up with a hung parliament and the Liberals and Conservatives have about the same number of seats. However, the Conservatives have a higher percentage of the popular vote because some Liberal supporters took your advice and voted for the NDP. See what you've done? Besides, I really don't want the NDP in so if I took your advice about strategic voting I would vote Conservative just to make sure that the NDP lost. But I won't take your advice. I will vote Liberal because I believe that is the best option for the country right now.

The fewer NDP elected as possible is the best strategy anyone could follow, anywhere.

If the Liberals and Conservatives have about the same number of seats but the Conservatives have a higher popular vote because some Liberals took George's advice and voted NDP then the Governor General, and the public at large, might look at the results and determine that the Conservatives form the government. That's one pitfall of the strategic voting strategy that George is promoting. I believe the strategic voting strategy is simply an NDP strategy and it will fail just like the NDP itself will fail again.

Taking George's advice on pretty much anything would be a serious mistake. Do you not remember the whole teachers strike. Following George's advice and they would still be on strike.

It would actually help both the Liberals and the NDP..

In Urbane's riding, the Conservatives will easily win, again,
unless the other parties cooperate by voting for whomever was
in second place last election.

Worked very well in Alberta... Totally got rid of the Conservatives.
