Rumor has it that Christy Clark was going to take over federal Conservatives, but of course, that was merely an unsubstantiated rumour started by the media. I'm sure she'll stick around provincially for a while yet.

The NDP support on the Island was lower than last federal election, so maybe the provincial NDP will suffer the same fate. Time will tell.

they gained 3 seats . that is a plus not a minus

They won because their closest revival (the Conservatives) lost even more support than they did. The vote splitting worked very well for the NDP on the Island.
