That confuses me Norma. I thought you would then spend all your time defending that profession while never mentioning yours and always claiming you are not currently a plumber.

Oh, that's GOOD! :dyinglaughing:
George. A teacher for 33 years and ashamed to admit it. I wonder why one would disenfranchise oneself from a profession that so often garners respect from one's peers? Too strange.
Although, similarly, Adrian Dix is trying to disenfranchise himself from being the 2nd most powerful man in BC during the 1990s, complete with the placement of BC into last place economically among Canadian provinces. Maybe George's failings as a teacher were on par with Dix's utterly failing past? Who knows?
I just saw Adrian Dix on TV, but I could only see one of his ears because he was too far to the left.

Not what I asked:
Have you ever been a teacher; yes or no
Have you ever been in a public position; yes or no
Are you going to answer George, I know you're on here?

No you didn't. You stated that you are not a teacher and not in public office. That's not what I asked you. We know you are not teacher now and are not in public office now. One more time George.
Have you ever been a teacher. Yes or No
Have you ever been in a public position. Yes or No.
If you ever want to be in public office, you better consider very carefully how you answer these questions, as we all know how these things can come back to haunt someone.
And as you asked, I'll answer. I'm not a teacher now or have ever been one. I am not in public office now or have ever been in public office. Your turn.

There's a reason George won't answer the questions directly and that's because he knows he'll have to lie and when he runs again for public office, he doesn't want to get called out on it. Sad really that someone with these kinds of ethics is allowed to represent us when he has no conviction to stand behind what he posts. If he runs, I'm going to make a point of calling him on this charade and see if he'll lie again.

It's not a threat at all, especially if you are who you say you are. You would only be worried if you're who we think you are and in that case, someone who seeks public office should have impeccable ethics, don't you think?

Impeccable ethics. Forgery, obstruction of justice, uttering forged documents, perjury, violation of the BC Recall Act, and theft.

I guess it all comes down to one's own ethical fibre when faced with a decision to vote for someone who has never been found guilty of any ethical or legal issue, or someone who has an established track record of breaking the law continually. The voters will have to let their moral compass decide what type of person they identify with better - a person who has broken the law time after time, or a person who has never been found to have broken the law.
