Weaver is being careful how he words the "offer" from the NDP, as they were careful enough to imply that he could have the job, but not offer it outright. They are masters of the illegal and corrupt, led by Dix, and know how to avoid prosecution for their bribery and debauchery.

$275,000 of taxpayers' money, per year, dangled in front of Weaver. Must have been very tempting for him, and I say he's a man of high moral fibre to refuse the offer. Good for him. Sadly, there's NO fibre in the NDP, moral or otherwise.

This STINKS to high heaven. Anyone apologizing for the NDP's despicable actions are just as despicable themselves!

The only backpedalling is being done by the NDP and their apologists. Weaver did the right thing and discussed this with his party leader as soon as the implied bribe of $275,000 per year of taxpayers' money was made by the NDP.

Not sure why the same link is posted by NDP apologists 2 posts later, but perhaps it's reflective of their cognitive abilities, or lack thereof.

Bottom line: the NDP malfeasance just keeps getting more and more ROTTEN as each day goes by!

No, that's not correct. Weaver never said that he had offered a job in exchange for another candidate stepping aside, directly or indirectly (wink wink), so it is most definitely not the same thing as we have here. Good try though!

Interesting that while many of us, myself included, have certainly been critical of the Liberals there are quite a number of posters on here who condemn the Liberals for things like (supposed) winks and wiggles from Christie Clark while turning a blind eye to unethical behaviour on the part of the NDP and/or their surrogates. I think we should be setting a higher standard for all of our politicians. Sad to see not everyone agrees. Malfeasance should be malfeasance it seems to me.
