My goodness it's quite obvious George mistook the 2 in 26 for a 1.
So what ?
You guys ran out of something to say to make your point.
You don't like NDP. We get it.
Insulting others is childish.

^^^ Georeg, is that YOU? :dyinglaughing:
The "quality" of the candidates is hilarious. A union leader and a kid with no experience in life, let alone running a province. That speaks volumes about the huge lack of competency the NDP attracts.

There's no cause for alarm in the NDP ranks. I have it on good authority that if the polls get too close, Adrian Dix will back date them to April '13.

Can he say that he made an error though?
George like to call every one else wrong endlessly, can he admit when he is? The past indicates no, just want to see if a forum troll can act humble once in a while.
As for as the NDP candidate go, winning in the Okanagan will be tough for either of them as it is a rather conservative voting area historically, but the qualifications of the options aren't screaming WOW to me. None the less good luck to them, may they try to win my vote.

Obviously, I read the date of the story.
That was the wrong date for the meeting.

From his facebook
To me this is nothing more than selling an opinion as fact. He has nothing to back it up. He needs some meat to his opinion.
I disagree they are out of reach but are required sacrifice. Kids need to save their high school job money for tuition and not drop it into stereo systems in cars, clothing, and other items. They need to budget for the future not spend everything now and complain about the costs. Secondary schooling without massive debt is possible but hard.
How will he provide it?
Now things aren't in full swing yet but he is trying to win the nomination and that's the only real post he made and that was in November.
"Christy Clark promised to put `families first', but in Kelowna-Lake Country, families are last."

Tuition fees are out of reach for young people.

Do a search on Nuyens, and the resulting picture is of him holding a BCGEU flag. As usual, another Big Labour candidate for the NDP, whose life experience is being a union table thumper. The NDP is incapable of attracting anyone else.

Re: NDP set to nominate Kelowna candidate
I believe that's from him protesting the Crossroads closure. Crossroads closing is a definite loss, but was unfortunately no longer financially feasible. Running around protesting instead of leading a fundraiser is an indication that this candidate may only concern himself with saying "someone else should pay for it" instead of being a leader and finding a way to save it.
He wants to be an MLA he needs to be a leader, not a complainer.
I'll see if he comes out and has something to say but so far his campaign I find lacking, as a voter I desire solutions not just complaining about the other guys.

Re: NDP set to nominate Kelowna candidate
In my opinion, running around with a union placard simply is an attempt to keep union jobs, rather than concern over the social issue which was the closing of CTC.
As Veovis has said, a leader needs to show that he can find solutions to complex problems, and not just be a protester. I bet even Georeg could carry a placard and be a protester. :127:

Guess there were union jobs at CTC.
Bring on the blame the unions for everything, now.
and blah, blah, blah.

If the criterion for becoming an MLA was as you stated above, 98% of the candidates for the NDP, including their nutless leader, would be disqualified. All that party attracts are professional whiners and complete losers with a strong sense of entitlement and no brains. Which is why that party just can't run a government without it being a massive disaster.

And yet if you want a real laugh someone should resurrect the massive steaming piles of crap that Carole James put forward as platforms in the two elections that she had her ass handed to her. Those were complete garbage. The sad thing is they still are no doubt better than the dung heap that nutless is going to serve up, if he ever does find the balls to form a policy on anything.
