"JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon said he would fire any employee trading bitcoin for being “stupid.”

The cryptocurrency “won’t end well,” he told an investor conference in New York on Tuesday, predicting it will eventually blow up. “It’s a fraud” and “worse than tulip bulbs.”

If a JPMorgan trader began trading in bitcoin, he said, “I’d fire them in a second. For two reasons: It’s against our rules, and they’re stupid. And both are dangerous.”"

Because it's a threat to their bottom line. Simple as that.

BREAKING NEWS: The CEO and board of directors of the Horse and Carriage releases statement that gas powered vehicles are a giant scam.

Interesting that you quote people in similar stature businesses when they support your view but attempt ridicule when they don't.
Also interesting that the above link also has links to comparisons to tulip bulbs.....your favourite when commenting on the never ending incorrect position that the housing market has crashed.....for years.

Good track record, little cowboy!

How did Static do that?
Is the world getting stupider, or is it just getting easier for stupid people to have their thoughts heard?

I would imagine that he simply chose to come on with a different username at the time, after his "time-out". When caught in his web 'O lies about Bnoel, he simply chose to end the charade. Man up, as it were.

Good to have that little diversion out of the way, eh static?

I called him out ages before you guys started to get a clue, and I just got him to come out of the closet in the Savings & Investment thread.

It's obvious he was in a panic to rebuttal me and slipped with his web browser's auto-login. Didn't realize he logged in with the wrong character. Woops.

Yet some of you say I can't string things together and predict outcomes. Just wait for the next Act.

Should the next act be the fact that crypto is tanking? Bitcoin shed $1000 this week, ETH down from $400 late august to $240 today.

Oh dude...your hopes and dreams are tanking.
