^^Thanks for proving my point re: premier photo op.
Why do people who fancy themselves "fiscal conservatives" not scream at hidden debt accumulated in the past dozen years? Or, do they only object to spending on social programs?

didn't prove any "point" of yours - the only point that matters is that if CC does a public appearance, she's "Premier Photo-Op" to the deranged nutbar faction, and if she doesn't appear at a function, then she's "hiding". Up is down, black is white, but stupid is still stupid when it comes to your CC obsession FF.

gotta love the die hard lib sheeple, defend the indefensible, defend corruption and malfeasance by the Liberal government who has put this province in debt unmatched by any other government in the history of BC.

what is worse is that the liberals will win more than 2 seats in the next election...now THAT is a head scratcher!

Gotta love the socialists who take any criticism of Dix or the NDP as an endorsement of everything that the Liberals have done. You gotta be in favour of forging documents, cheating during a leadership contest, breaking election laws because if you aren't you're a Liberal sheeple. It's highly entertaining to see the ethical gymnastics that the NDP die-hards go through to defend Dix. It's bloody hilarious!! And when the province goes right down the toilet after Dix takes over we'll be hearing that at least he doesn't wink or wiggle! Too funny!!

The only thing that the rest of the planet outside of North America is lauging at is how people here are taking nothing and turning it into something ridiculous. OMG, our Premier is a human, she chuckled and had fun on a radio show, whoop dee doo! :127: Just because you're in public office doesn't mean you have to have your undies in a bunch and be all business 24/7 :127:

Well that is questionable. In todays world almost everything someone in the public eye goes is caught on camera by someone and does or can come back to haunt them. If they want to avoid having it haunt them then they must be business/serious most if not all the time. Even back in Trudeau's day when he did a pirouette behind the queen may 7 1977 it came back to haunt him. His one finger salute, wearing sandals to parliament were all noted even way back then. He did much of it to to gain attention but even back then it was caught and is still remembered. So yes most people in the public eye will be called to task for what they say and do. Even a Prince in a private hotel room in Vegas supposedly with security guards can't get away from it.
Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you'll understand what little chance you have of changing others.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes their way.

Whether anyone is on or off the job, they are expected to appear professional and keep their private lives and opinions discreet so as not to put their professional image at risk.

I doubt there are any high profile, powerful, intelligent women anywhere who would be complimented on being labelled a *bleep*. Carole Taylor? Diane Watts? Allison Redford?

As one female commenter wrote: "CC needs a chastity belt for her mouth!"

A male commented: "When she opens her mouth, donations drop."

Gawd, is there no end to it???

How long do ya plan to go on about this one, FF?

I am soooo anxiously waiting for when the NDP get elected just to see how vicious you are with them when they don't perform the way you want them to and totally F the province - which they are sure to do.

No GF - there is no end to it as long as this dingbat 'premier' puts herself out there with all the gaffes, incredible flip flops and mindless dribble. After all, she is SUPPOSED to be a 'leader' in this province and has not in one instance measured up to the attributes that a 'leader' is supposed to posses. Where is her 'vision'? Where is her 'policy'? What has she ACTUALLY done to improve the situation for children in care or implemented any of the children's advocate's recommendations? All we get is 'Family Day' in February. Which will cost us $1.5 million to 'advertise. A hike in minimum wage. BFD. A bridge that is only safe to use seasonally, a loss of $40 million on Telus naming rights and a BC Place that has to be blocked off to pedestrians because of the ice falls. $6 million paid to fall guys so high muckie mucks would not have to answer difficult questions on the stand. Millions spent in blocking requests by the Auditor General to have access to documents in order to do his job. And to put icing on the cake, $64 MILLION in advertising, the last of which will cost us $16 MILLION to have premier photo op out there every Thursday night at 6:45 on GLOWBALL to pat herself and her ChristyLiberals on the back for a "JOBS PLAN" we still know nothing about.

As far as your comment about the NDP 'totally F the province' . My question to you is: Why should you worry about the NDP F'ing this province for 4 years since the ChristyLiberals and the GordoLibs have F*d this province for the last 12!

I didn't say I was "worried" about what the NDP are gonna do. I just kinda figure now that one political F'ing will be the same as any other political F'ing no matter which one is doing it. They both belong in the nearest bedbug sleezy motel. I just wanna hear you say how wonderful the NDP F'ing is when they screw us royally and see how much you will defend them when they do exactly the same things the Liberals and CC are doing now, is all. I think its gonna be worth the price of admission to read your comments then.

Oh how I wish that were true. Obviously Dix and company had their hand in some pretty shady dealings more than ten years ago. The problem is that the malfeasance of this current party in government now makes the NDP party look like small-time high school bullies going after lunch money. By comparison the government in power is stealing your mortgage, indebting you to contractual obligations over the next three plus decades (talking about billions of public tax dollars being deffered to private interests - and I’ve deliberately left out a long list of Liberal malfeasance), and if they’re talking to you they’re lying .

We’ve been acting like brain dead dupes since 2001. Are we really still that stupid? The polls would suggest we’re not quite that stupid right now but we haven’t yet annihilated this dysfunctional party (can hardly wait to see this score). Only complete idiots or those so ideologically blinded they cannot see can argue Christy is a better choice and hold on with a straight face. As far as you and me we will not be affected personally to any significant degree and any change at the personal level will essentially be noticeless. It will be extremely embarrassing though if we re-elect Chirsty. At least Dix is being quite clear and assuaging the concerns of the business community. With Christy, only her backers will say positive things (desperately) and with a Christy re-election our credibility (what remains) will be shot.

It is long past time to start voting corrupt and malfeasant governments out of power. In this case, that sadly looks like we might have to vote NDP. We know we can find a history of corruption and malfeasance in their party’s history, but it pales in comparison to the malfeasance that has been undertaken and continues under the current group. If you can find a candidate other than Liberal or NDP to vote for go for it. You never know what is going to happen. The only thing that is really important is that these “free enterprise” (LOLOLOLOL) Liberals be wasted to the political deadlands. If we really did this then we would have created a viable threat to the next government that we the electorate have adopted a new "one term and you're out" policy and it's up to you to demonstrate and prove you should be rehired. No longer can you coast thinking you have no competition because we have figured out it is time for real change and we'll vote for anyone to git rid of you. I suspect we do that five times tops and the people of this province will see a dramatic change in government.

Or we can just continue to act like sheeple. I don't care. My job is secure and I've already researched and developed a variety of options for moving away from here sometime in the next four to nine years. What ever government (Liberal or NDP) gets elected this provice next spring my life and plans for my future will not change. Those of you remaining have some serious work ahead - unless, of course, the pants-down, bums up and kneeling position has gotten real comfortable for you:

Merry Christmas to everyone, and even more importantly, make this New Year the one where you say: " Screw you guys !!! "
