It is incredibly difficult to obtain. I know someone who’s been trying two years needing support for living after an ABI from no fault of her own. She had to re-learn everything from infancy onward, could face relapse, and has cognitive deficits that may never resolve. After all that, no help, no perks, 20 years old. What lies ahead for her?
