The "Make BC Great Again" Party. What could go wrong.
How do you destroy a political party? Elect a part-time drama teacher as your leader because of his last name.

2019 - The year we get rid of the Liberals and their drunken farm wife spending.

I hope not. Things were great under Campbell and Clark.

Failing to govern reasonably, and after all, that's what the voters want - reasonable governance.

The two Andrews will shred the NDP, taking their shots strategically - because they know the BC NDP don't have a strategy (a strategy requires a plan, and the BC NDP failed to plan), just tactics - and ones that are wearing thin really fast. Betcha Lana and Claire already have their knives out of the sheath and are stropping them.
Exactly right HG. It was personal attacks directed Christy Clark's way as well and right after taking over the leadership Andrew Wilkinson is the recipient of personal attacks. We're told he's arrogant, that he's a bully, that he didn't spend enough years being a doctor, that his education isn't really all that impressive (I love that one!), and that he hasn't repudiated the BC Liberal Party. So ridiculous but when you support a party that doesn't know how to govern, i.e. the NDP, I guess you figure personal attacks are all you've got. Sad.

Here's what's sad: the dyed-in-the-wool SCRAP party faithful who keep flogging a dead horse while trying to prop it up with a new jockey.

I don't recall any personal attacks on Christy Clark from Liberals. It was NDP'ers on these very forums who criticized the way she dressed, claimed that she dressed to impress gullible men, suggested that she was some sort of bimbo, and even belittled her parenting skills. The dynamics after the last election are an entirely different matter but I think you know that. The personal attacks from NDP'ers against Christy Clark were shameful.

My goodness, the followers of the little orange book can only see the small.

Every politician has a sell by date. The BC Liberals had plenty of options, plenty of leadership talent. The misogynist tactics employed by the NDP took a toll, and certainly not one that the BC NDP should be proud of. (I notice the BC NDP supporters being particularly harsh with their comments about Rachel Notley too.... hmmmm)

At least the BC Liberals had many options, not like BC NDP who had no membership vote and got stuck with a retread from the 1990s.

Yes. The greatness would be self-evident without actually stating it:)

Since nobody seems to want to talk about Mr. Obnoxious/Arrogant/Patroniizng/Shouting over everyone Wilkinson, maybe the mods should put this thread into the Bickering Room, eh?

Actually, many of us are discussing Wilkinson in a respectful manner. Feel free to join in that respectful discussion! When the Legislature reconvenes next week Wilkinson will be reminding everyone of Horgan's broken promises and also pointing out the folly of his war with Alberta. It's about to get very interesting!

ETA: Too bad you couldn't discuss Andrew Wilkinson in a respectful way. Your loss!

^^Do you think for a minute that Horgan will fail to remind Wilkinson of his participation over the past 16 years of so many scandals and activities Wilkinson played a part in?

There we go again with the personal attacks, from the queen of personal attacks.

It's a shame some on here CANNOT be respectful. That is the hard core NDP way.
