Prison time for Trump?

Postby LolaB » Dec 10th, 2018, 7:42 pm

To the Castanet news writers:

Every time I read new nonsense stories about president Trump on Castanet I fear that our media is in very incompetent hands (and brains)... or simply bought as others by our liberal government.

You hopefully read the actual stories about many politicians who are/were committing such acts, as the US president is accused of, during their time in office but because them being democrats they have guaranteed some kind of pardon. When it comes to president Trump suddenly all the unsupported sources and lies (which are at least one decade old) are so very valid to impeach him. Are you kidding me or truly that unintelligent and influenced by the US Liberals and Democrats? Please set your standards on a decent level or at least be unbiased with your "opinions" without spreading lies and hate.

You might want to check https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=share&v=chuml73KjZY .... yes, I know your answer will be "this comes from Fox news"... as the lying liberal or democratic news are better.

Someone has to wake up and do the right thing without dividing the people. Your website news and other newsmakers are constantly fuelling people's anger towards somebody and something they do not even understand (judging by asking about the proof while no one has an answer but hates equally!) If your mission is to spread the hate without any boundaries and logics I have to say that you have my highest disrespect.

Please write the correct news or stay neutral but try hard not to mislead people even further as there is enough division happening in USA and Canada between many groups. That's what they (Liberals and Democrats) want - when we will be divided into hating each other we will become totally vulnerable.... but you must know that, don't you?

Prison time would be highly doubtful while in office since that would require impeachment, only way for that is both houses would have to agree i.e we have seen the results of that with Bill Clinton, 1 house called for his impeachment the other did not.... so no impeachment.

Only time in my life that this look like a possibility (both houses were in agreement was with Nixon), of course he beat them to the punch by resigning as president.

foot note: President Ford gave Nixon a full presidential pardon for any illegal activities while as 37th president.

When you have to start compromising yourself and your morals for the people around you, it’s probably time to change the people around you.

That about sums it up. The best outcome would be for the American people to elect a Democrat as a President in 2020.....indict Trump and put him jail without the probability of a Republican President giving him a pardon. Wouldn't that be something? An American ex President behind bars

How do you destroy a political party? Elect a part-time drama teacher as your leader because of his last name.

this comment is both amazingly and blindingly partisan, and just plain wrong. Brush up on some US history before making such silly comments.

Trump concerned about being impeached, sees it as a 'real possibility,' source says
President Donald Trump has expressed concern that he could be impeached when Democrats take over the House, a source close to the President told CNN Monday. The source said Trump sees impeachment as a "real possibility."

<snip>

Impeachment talk has ratcheted up in recent days following a blockbuster filing from prosecutors in the Southern District of New York. In that filing, prosecutors directly alleged for the first time that Cohen was being directed by Trump when he broke the law during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Democrats are suggesting Trump committed an impeachable offense and could be sent to prison when his term in the White House is over. The incoming chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jerry Nadler, said Sunday the allegations, if proven, would constitute "impeachable offenses." Democratic Sen. Chris Coons said Monday Trump could be indicted after he leaves office.

Impeachment? Prison time? Yes Donny, a very real possibility :smt045

Some of you are seriously watching too many main stream media which are owned by Democrats. Trump is not worry about the prison but Hillary and Obama should worry about all their actions against Americans which they somehow always turn into a good will actions... Please people, educate yourself about all the aspects as the brainwashing news took already it's toll on your brains ...

Socialist way of politics has always been the way that they scream and point the fingers towards others based on what they had actually done. They think that the louder they scream more and more people will not inquire or see their (Democrats, Liberals) own illegal and wrong actions. They always bring an issue which is fine if one of them does (and in a much worse form) but if i't a Republican you better watch out... Scream as much you want but you won't win.

Whew, no wonder our news is so skewed and Donny has to tweet so hard to get the truth out there. [icon_lol2.gif]

Your political knowledge is near zero and trust me president Trump (who is NOT your president) will stick around much longer than you think. I won't bother to reply to any nonsense created by under informed and over spoken person [icon_lol2.gif]

Yeah if North Carolina and Wisconsin are any indication, Republicans would rather gerrymander, cheat and act like out right sore losers than let democracy take place. Peeps should be outraged as democracy is under siege in the US of A.

So you're not going to respond to any of GB's posts? Looking at twobits signature line, that's what most of us try to do :smt045
