Speaking of weak, how long before Forum is back? He's still visiting but not posting. Poor little guy.

Maybe waiting for January RE stats to come out in Oshawa so he can come back.
Or waiting for crypto to rise so he can save face.
Or busy "topping up his CPP."

I'm hearing word that Forum bucked up and bought himself one of those Costco yurts and erected it on a beach somewhere north of Fintry.
Maybe he doesn't have good wifi.

Homesteading may very well be a good option for him.

It’s good enough wifi to read the threads but not post.

Maybe mom is mad again. Or he is overcharging her for shovelling the driveway and she demanded rent, knowing full well that there are no investments to tap into after topping up his cpp. [icon_lol2.gif]

Forum is probably on a vacation, he can do so with all the cash he rakes in by renting.
You have to keep an open mind until it is proven one way or the other. You just can't take the T.V. or internet word on it.

B.C. happy about economy
British Columbians are happier with the state of the national economy than most Canadians, according to a survey conducted in mid-January.

Insights West polled 1,339 Canadians between Jan. 19 and 22, and it found that 58 per cent of B.C. residents describe the national economy as “good” and another six per cent called it “very good.” Only Quebec had a higher percentage of those who looked fondly upon the economy.

A total of 55 per cent of Canadians viewed the economy as “very good” or “good.”

Alberta had the bleakest opinion on the subject matter, with only 27 per cent calling the economy “very good” or “good.”

On a personal basis, 60 per cent of British Columbians described their financial situation as “good” and another 11 per cent called it “very good.” Those marks are also slightly above the national average.

While there is positivity about the current state of the economy, they don’t feel as good about what’s coming down the road. Nearly half of those polled (43 per cent) believe the economy will decline. In B.C., however, only 33 per cent are pessimistic about the economy’s future and 52 per cent feel it will stay the same.

And my dividends will continue to increase year over year, and I'll sit back and watch my downpayment grow in purchasing power.

That's great. The landlord can sit back and watch his equity grow thanks to your monthly contributions.

So will everyone else's. Except I don't believe you will ever pull the trigger on a purchase.

Or is that your secret dream?

Why should he? He is sitting pretty and happy with his investments paying his rent for him.

Small minded thinking by small minded thinkers, who only wants to survive, and not do any better or are failing to plan for their retirement years. There are lots out there that think the same way.
If anything unexpected should happen to them or in their life, they are going to be flucked and complaining that the government doesn't do enough to support him in the fashion that he would like to be accustomed to.
