Dix: Another flip-flop!

Post by Gone_Fishin »

Dix said NO to running a negative campaign.

Now, news reports are discussing how Dix's ads are aggressively negative since Christy's momentum has surged and Dix has blown his 20 point lead.

Dix lies again, and reverses another promise to voters.

You know, you Can't Trust Dix.

I was listening to Palmer and Baldrey last Friday on the Bill Good Show and they were asked if Dix would turn negative despite his promise not to. They both said that if he did (which he has now done) he would appear desperate. Well, there we have it. Desperate Dix.

Dix continues to break promises with these flip-flops. His so-called "platform" was vague enough, and now he's reversing position yet again.

We all know that he has been mum on several issues, so there's no telling what the heck he will do, and those issues where he's said one thing then done another just makes him even less trustworthy.

No kidding!

What's he hiding? It's a scary thought!

Desperate Dix, lol.

A serious condition in which a socialist (affiliated with communist party members and a penchant for forgery and evasion) may begin to feel strong attraction to lying, flip flopping, back room payoffs, et all, after a long period of governing inactivity.

The Dix-flops are happening because the polls have tightened but here's irony: The more Dix changes his position to appease the Greens the more the business community and the public in general lose whatever faith they had in him. Dix has run a terrible campaign and win or lose the election next Tuesday he has certainly lost the campaign.

Dix is doing everything he can to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. In all my years of watching politics, I am not sure if I have ever seen such a poorly run campaign, or such a massive disintegration of public support in such a short space of time. Dix may still win this election, but he's done just about everything you could possibly do wrong. Just unbelievable how bad he is. Part of me wants him to win, just so we have comedic relief every day as he bumbles stumbles and babbles his way through the next four years, if he even makes it that long.

Agreed. I actually agree with GB’s evaluation that Dix has done everything he possibly could to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Like GB I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a poorly run campaign, or such an apparent massive disintegration of public support in such a short space of time. I am going to be surprised if the NDP win this election, ...

... but I also know I’m going to be disappointed no matter which of the two most probable outcomes.

"The B.C. NDP has launched a new province-wide attack ad against the B.C. Liberals — even though the New Democrats have insisted they wouldn't run a negative campaign."

Can't trust a thing that Dix says.
