We, like other sentient life forms, are here because it's the only way the universe can perceive itself.

Go to your dentist or doctor. Cyst, swollen glands, tonsil issues......

I wouldn't be too alarmed. There are few things that can cause this - mono, strep, bacteria of some sorts, etc. In all of these cases, the remedy is fairly simple.

But you should definitely visit a dentist and stop drinking coffee/smoking.

Sorry about the graphic image...a picture is worth a thousand words.

Thank you all for weighing in.Parents spent $5000+ dollars on a treatment that I believe was called Isis(?) that used a ultra hard ceramic that was lasered onto my teeth. It was to stop the possibility of having any cavities throughout my adult life,and... it worked-I have never had a cavity in my life.Perhaps that is why the proceedure was discontinued due to dentists not being able to make money on the patient(s) in the future. I believe that I am one of only a handful of people that ever had it done as the cost in todays dollars would be over $15,000. The downside is that my teeth cannot be brought up to the pearly white that others can get due to the ceramic not being able to be cleaned like normal teeth. I'm okay with that trade off.

You could try seeing a specialist in Vancouver. My wife was told it would be 1 year to see a surgeon re her gall bladder and 1-2 years after to get it removed. We saw a Dr in White Rock in a few months and a couple of months later she had the surgery done. All done in less than 6 months where here she would not even have seen the Dr yet.
Nowadays it's almost rude to ask a question without Googling it first!
