Here is a fairly reputable web site for information. This is a specific vaccine but it still begs the question of safety.

Serious generalised allergic reactions of anaphylaxis
Fits
Severe stabbing or throbbing pain along one or more nerves
Low blood platelet count which can result in bleeding or bruising
Very Rare (affects less than 1 in 10,000 people):
Vasculitis
Neurological disorders such as encephalomyelitis, neuritis or Guillain–Barré syndrome temporary paralysis

1 in 10,000 does not sound very rare to me, too risky.

The safety of this particular vaccine resulted in it's cancellation

Currently, THL is recommending that further Pandemrix vaccinations be discontinued pending further investigation into 15 cases of recently vaccinated children who developed narcolepsy in late 2009 and early 2010

That happened in Europe.

The analysis included more than 650,000 people who received the pandemic flu vaccine in 2009 and over 870,000 people who received the seasonal flu vaccine in 2010/2011. The study found that vaccination was not associated with an increased risk for narcolepsy.

I remember when the country of Canada went absolutely "berzerk" over that flu shot.
The media knows how to use scare tactics on the gullible sheeple.

Poland's lawyers said the flu shot wasn't even tested properly, so Poland didn't go for the scam.

I think most doctors don't get a flu shot - even in Canada.

No need to get personal - I've worked in a hospital and have friends and family members that also are "front line workers".

Everyone see that? it's a big lie. Only 1/3 of Canadians get a flu shot each year. And it's only for certain people
according to experts. Like really old people and people with certain health problems.

Another big lie is when they say thousands of people are hospitalized each year and 10 a day die from the flu.
The truth is - those 10 a day die because doctors load them up with pharmaceutical drugs - and then they die from
that. They would not have died if they stayed away from the doctor, or at least a lot less of them would have died.

So there you have it. The media lies.
