There are tons of sources of govt revenue other than personal taxation.
It would be better if you actually thought about how to fund things instead of crying about your personal potential tax burden.

I have given you facts which you ignore. And opinions which you also ignore.

Funding for new warships,
Funding of oil subsidies,

If you believe that such spending is silly I think you will find that by and large, Canada is made up of nothing but silly people who IN YOUR OPINION support silly spending.

You definitely have to have been born after the second world war and know nothing about Canada's Proud Tradition as World Peacekeepers in many areas of the world. I can now understand why you say some of the very puzzling things you say if you do not have that experience or knowledge.

Things like that are a very large part of what makes Canada Canada and why we do the things that we do. Without the ability (and spending) to control our society and borders the entire Canadian Health Care System would be at risk, as would Canada itself.

That would be a very distorted version of the truth. In fact it would be a completely false summation of what I have been saying. Credibility is a huge issue when it comes to taxpayers judging the reliability of people making statements in the media.
