Tire mulch is NOT "environmentally friendly" no matter how much we romanticize "recycling".

In pavement sure why not, in a garden only an idiot would do that.

Huge difference between asphalt and rubber, I have a continuous battle with weeds growing along side and through the pavement on my driveway!

It's also becoming more popular with equine activities. Show rings, race tracks etc.
