West Kelowna Telus cell service

I guess koodo/telus hasn't had a chance to put the portable transmitters into west Kelowna to replace the one lost. I'm by the lake and service is almost non existant.

Yes, unfortunately Telus won't be fixing this until it's safe to do so.

Team members are in the area with a generator awaiting the all-clear from emergency crews to get the tower back up and running.

Bell lost a cell tower in the 2003 Mountain Park Fire and never replaced it (as of 2007 anyways). I had to cancel my Bell phone service when i lived in the mission because I could no longer get any reception. (though I was still forced to pay out my contract)
