Freehold land mobile home parks
Hey all, sorry for bugging you all lately!!
is there any freehold land mobile home parks in westbank? Obviously still paying a pad rental, but not on leasehold land? How about that one behind supersave? Im looking for a park to buy in that I dont have to be worried about it going away in the near future!
thx
Jeff
PS I guess I should be more specific. I need something pet friendly, freehold, and family, or 18+

There's a mobile home park at the top of Bartley Rd. I know when it was first developed they advertised that you bought & owned the property. That's as much as I know about it.

Adult as in?
As long as it is 19 plus? Then we're good to go.

Should I really be concerned with lease land? is it really that bad? As long as its a nice long lease?

If you can get into something where there is a long term lease - originally 99 year now it may be at 80 year or so. I know you like the water, but that can be iffy....
There are some parks Green Acres, and a few on Old OK hwy and Shannon Lake rd...they are also building new ones in behind Bayview beside the old waterslide. You have to go into Bayview and straight up to get into it. Hope that helps.

I live oin a freehold mobile home park, and the owner is doing all he can to devalue oyr homes, so we owners cannot sell on the open market, and he can grind us down and buy us out cheaply, so he can redevelop the area.
It is in Green Bay mobile home park, come down and see it !
We feel so much pressure from the owner, so, Native land surely couldn't be worse !!
Good luck to you.
Sheila. that cranky one !

A mobile home purchase must never, ever be considered permanent housing, the last thing you want to feel is what, say, residents of Hiawatha MHP here in town are feeling. If you are looking for something to give you a bit of appreciation so as to springboard onto bigger and better, I'd hold off and wait for the price crash of the under 1000sqft condo/townhouse market. By waiting, you will be able to see things re-balance and result in some appreciation by the time your mortgage renews.

What about the Crystal Springs development on Shannon Lake Road? It looks very well looked after and I'm certain it's not WFN. I heard it's 40+ adult though. Anybody know different?
Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.

Crystal Springs is 55+. Pad rent about $325 on freehold land.
It is a very well managed park with single wides selling in the $200K + range. for our desirable community
We have good social activities and great neighbours.
