BCAA office, they are great, if you're wearing something too light, they have blazers you can wear for the two minutes it takes, if your face is too shiny, they fix it........never had an issue at all when getting our passports.

The postal outlet in the Capri Mall is good for adults and older children that are able to sit on a stool and pose, but they do not have the facilities to do infant/toddler photos. Other than that they provide a good service at a reasonable price, and will redo the photos if they think that the photos might be rejected. With them being so close to the passport office I imagine they are fairly knowledgeable about what will and will not be accepted.

Was there to at Lake City Camera have my passport photo taken Excellent customer service. The man that helped me was speedy and very helpful - knew the exact specifications of the type of photos I needed.

Walmart will re-do them for free if they are not accepted. I would imagine most places are becoming very proficient at doing them correctly given the high demand.
It's possible to do all the right things and still get a bad result.

Wait - the passport office itself doesn't do them? If not, LOL!

The passport office has never been in the business of taking passport photos. :)

Yeah - seems like it would be a natural fit, though. Makes little sense to me.

It's like buying a hamburger at A&W, but first you have to buy a bun from the pet store across the street.

Which when you think about it is pretty dumb. When you get a drivers license you don't take them your picture. They do it on-site. Don't charge for it either.

You mean, its' included in the price for a renewal? ;)

Funny though, I thought I was the only one who figured that was a bit odd LOL!

I'm surprised though, that the photo studios don't charge you extra for a 10 year passport photo LOL!
Nobody wants to hear your opinion. They just want to hear their own opinion coming out of your mouth.

Exactly. Quite strange. Another example of gov. "piecemeal efficiency"? lol

Last time around I went to Shoppers at Plaza 33 in Rutland, no problems. Time for a renewal now.
