Old cabinet doors

I'm in search of old cabinet doors, and scrap maple, oak and walnut I can use for woodworking projects... of course I'll pick it up anywhere in greater Kelowna. (Cabinet manufacturer's don't allow dumpster diving, I've asked and the Restore is starting to get expensive.)

I got an entire lift of exotic wood from a cabinet door manufacturer a few years back. It was sitting outside in the parking lot waiting for someone who was going to come pick it up and take it to the dump.

I asked if I could have it and picked it up right away and finished the surface of my large deck with Ash, alder, oak, apple, cherry and other types of wood. It was amazing and free.

I would look for a company that makes the doors themselves and talk to them. You never know.
