Document Translator?

Post by Darlin06 »

I'm in need of someone to translate our marriage certificate into English, and have it certified. This isn't just for personal use but i need it for obtaining a visa for Australia.
Does anyone know if there are any people/companies in Kelowna that do this??

Eta: the current one is in Spanish and I need it translated into English.

no, but make sure you get multiple copies for future use.

It will save a lot of time and money later.

It might help if we knew what language it was in.

Not being a smarty here but there are Spanish to English translators available free on the interweb. I have used several many times.

Might depend on the legalities involved too.

I don't think the online ones do a good enough job, personally. I would think that with the number of spanish speaking people here, the government offices, or the people that help the immigrants would have a translator. Good luck.

Really?

No creo que los en línea hacen un trabajo lo suficientemente bueno, personalmente. Creo que las oficinas del gobierno, o las personas que ayudan a los inmigrantes, con el número de personas de habla hispana aquí, tendría un traductor. Buena suerte.

It's as close as you get. Literal translation is almost impossible but this good.

You need a notary public that specializes in translating Spanish-language documents. Translating isn't the hard part, it certifying the translation that needs to be completed.

I can connect you up with a good translator, she is in Mazatlan Mx and was our Spanish teacher, she can do it by email if you can scan it in.
Mine is in Spanish and getting it translated has never been required.
We're lost but we're making good time.
