Dental tourism

Has anyone had a positive experience getting dental care out of country, to reduce cost? Any recommendations? Thanks.

Have spoken to a friend who went to Puerto Vallarta for serious dental work and justifies it as paying for a holiday with the savings. He was happy and willing to take the risk.
On the downside, there are huge risks and incredible stories of things that have gone wrong. I know dentists and staff who have related very real instances of things that were done incorrectly and the patient ended up spending way more to rectify the issues.

Keep in mind the VERY accurate saying that applyiies in virtually everything in life......you get what you pay for.

And the other one.......if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

But, if you are intent on doing it, give it a try and report back......in a year or two.
