Whoever you eventually contact keep solidly in mind that no real estate agent works for you. They work to make money for themselves and they make that money by selling you a house.

That is sort of the definition of their work, isn't it? Using your logic, no plumber works for you....he makes his money by doing plumbing. No therapist works for you, they make money by listening to you. No city employee works for you. They are doing it for their paycheque. No police officer works for you.....just making money by being on the beat.

Nobody in any sales or service or, frankly, any occupation whatsoever, would work for you, if you are inclined to think that way.

The entire working world is just a bunch of self serving people who do their jobs for payment.

Interesting outlook, but I don't share it.
