Central Vacuum

Post by Bsuds »

Our central vacuum died after 28 yrs! (cheap crap! lol)

Any recommendations where to buy a new one? I am heading out shortly to check a few places in town.

We just need the main part, no accessories. Cheapest prices seem to be around the $350-400 mark.

I'm sure I can manage the install myself.
So I saw a bumper sticker today that said, I'm a Veterinarian so I drive like an animal.
I suddenly realised how many Proctologists are on the road!

Did you try online at Home Depot, Home Hardware, and Revy? Try Costco on line too. (Delivered to your door)

Gordy Delowsky at the little mall on the highway south of Spall.
They always have a sign that says:
Does your vacuum suck? Gordy's do!

He could also fix your existing one.

If you are talking about the one on Banks Rd I left there very quickly as the sales guy was misleading with his facts and way over priced.

Yup went there too and he was good but a bit high priced as well.

Looked at all those as well but decided to go with one from "Your Vacuum Superstore" as it closely matches the one we have and they were very reasonable with the installation charge. Their price for the unit was reasonable as well and not far off what I could get it for from Costco etc. Decent specs on it as well.

Be sure and offer up the old one to Bman, she will probably make good use out it.
