Can you name some good locally owned businesses?

Post by KelownaCrackinCrew »

Hello, I am just wondering what locally owned businesses/stores you would recommended checking out in the Kelowna/Okanagan area? I want to support the local folks as best as I can. Thank you!
PS: I like sandwiches, any good places around here that make good sandwiches?

Have you tried Okanagan Street Food on Crowley? Great fish tacos and they sell a lot of homemade meals! The house ketchup is amazing!
perhaps the straight and narrow would be wider if more people used it

I'll second Pearson's deli and the Mediterranean Market. Also Little Hobo, and Woodfire Bakery are also really delicious.

I like Latin Fiesta.

Great Mexican food. Eight bucks for a huge burrito!

Amirs market in Rutland for the best butter chicken in town
Zaab for Thai - best in town by a landslide. One in the mission and another in Rutland.
Raudz for a fancy dinner.

Agree with the other recommendations.

BNA brewing makes awesome beer and does growler fills. :130:

Look up Charlie Hodge's "Best of Kelowna and Area 2017" from the Capital News...

Lots of great stuff there .
