Kitchen Fan Maintenance Referral?!

We took apart our kitchen fan to clean the grease out of it after noticing grease stains on our ceiling. Upon removing it we noticed that the two metal flaps (picture attached) are in the closed position so we believe that for the past year or so when we turned on the fan the air wasn't being circulated at all because the metal flaps leading to the exhaust pipe on our roof aren't opening hence the grease being splattered on our ceiling. We know the metal flaps are extremely caked in grease and might need to be replaced but we can't think of what kind of company could do so for us? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

You should be able to remove them and clean yourself. Start cleaning wth a good degreaser and see how they are held in there...most likely a couple of pins...they should come out quite easily...
